Fuu Color Test

I swear, Fuu has possibly been the most difficult character for me to design with both her physical design and her actual personality and history. I'm still not sure which I like best, especially since Lenzian's skin is supposed to have a bluish tint, so I ran a coloring through a few filters. I'm torn between the second and third from the left. The first just looks like a bad sunburn, and the last miiight be too extreme.

We shall see! I really want to do a portrait of her soon.

Fuu Full Design

I'm actually very happy with how these two designs came out, especially the left. Fuu comes from Lenzia, which is a volcanic land based off of Imperial China (culturally speaking at least), and her race is based off of the flying serpent they worship, so she's cold blooded. When she leaves Lenzia, she has to dress extra warm in order to avoid hypothermia. The design on the right was from before she left when she was the wife of a well-to do researcher, Giam.

More on Fuu later, I believe. :"D

New Pair

These two managed to create themselves in Art History today. Neither have names, but the younger one is an Adlet and the youngest prince of Dreida, and the older, more manly one with the aviators is a conartist from Rodenia.

... That's all I got. :")

[EDIT] Created color schemes!

In Progess

The inks and flats for the top image on the Final Arcanum site featuring Acacitli.

Jasna and Selam; I really liked how the sketch came out and thought to color it, but it didn't come out as I hoped. Maybe I'll finish? We shall see.

Strix Design

Strix; a birdlike people from the Caelest Islands south of Haweitha in the Southern Continent. The legend behind the Strix is that they were once regular human beings, but when they reached Enlightenment, they sprouted wings and flew away from their island to explore the world long ago. Since then, they have returned to the island, now only interested in things like puzzles and art.

Protagonist Busts

All four sketches will be cleaned and used on the Final Arcanum site, but I thought I'd share now. I'm still testing out the advantages of non-photoblue pencils, but they've been pretty sweet so far.
More on the characters:

Mirna Hawkins, 18 years old; she is the first and only daughter of Duke Hawkins of Rodenia. All her life she's lived comfortably and was considerably spoiled by her mother, but as she grew older, Mirna began to reject her cushy lifestyle and sought to rebel. She plans on running away from her home when, almost ironically, a band of pirates kidnap her and hold her for ransom. Duke Hawkins hires Captain Habersam of the Siren, a bounty hunter, to catch the thieves and rescue her. She appears in the beginning/middle of Final Arcanum and begins a shaky relationship with Acacitli, but I don't want to give it all away~

Acacitli, 17 years old; for all of his childhood, he dreamed of becoming a sky pirate, free to do whatever he want, so when the infamous Captain Clint of the Eurydice offered him a spot on his crew, Acacitli jumped for the opportunity. There he meets Zero, a mercenary working on the ship, and Selence Kite, another pirate, and the trio become close friends. He commits all his time and efforts to the ship and pirating and talks of nothing else, which also means he avoids talking about his past if he can help it and claims "It's really not that interesting anyway." He's the hero of Final Arcanum and one of my favorite characters in the entire series.

Ishmael Habersham, 22 years old; he normally goes by the nickname 'Mael' and is Captain Falk Habersham's younger brother. Ever since the death of their parents who were killed in a pirate attack, the two have been very close. Mael is the more passive and introverted of the two, preferring the company of books and a quite study to the action-packed adventure of the skies. Unfortunately, he doesn't have much of a choice when his brother decides to become a bounty hunter. He is actually very open-minded compared to Falk and likes to believe there is good in everyone, no matter who they appear to by.

Falk Habersham, 26 years old; Falk took the death of his parents much harder than Mael and took it upon himself to take care of his younger brother. Over the years, he developed a very strong sence of justice and determination, and became a bounty hunter in order to satisfy his need to hunt down every pirate in Khartes. He seeks to protect others so they don't have to suffer the hardship he and Mael went through. Though Falk can be a little blindsighted, he means well and (as long as you're not a pirate) he's very friendly and charismatic. He currently captains the airship the Siren.

YUP. There's some brief character bios for you guys. I'll try and have some more soon~
